When you arrive for your stay at the 1814 House Inn you will be greeted with a smiling face and welcome refreshment.

In the morning, you can enjoy a full country breakfast and baked goods, as well as fresh coffee or assorted teas. Sit back and relax in the common room with a book or a game of chess. By request we offer afternoon tea daily.

The Inn has seven romantic guest suites and rooms with 19th century antique furnishings, fireplace, canopy beds and modern conveniences such as satellite TV and high speed internet.

We have Jacuzzis in five of the suites, which are elaborately decorated with Mercer tile. Many of our rooms overlook the Doylestown Historical Society Park. 

Chocolates and fresh flowers are just a few of our special touches.  Stay includes welcome refreshments upon arrival, daily maid service, evening turndown service with chocolates, breakfast in our dining room, on our patio or the privacy of your own room. Romance Package: $115

When your feeling romantic and don't know what to do let us help: Complimentary bottle of champagne & a gift certificate towards dinner for two at a restaurant within walking distance of the Inn.

Champagne & Roses Package: $95

For that special evening when you want to show someone how much they mean to you!
Complimentary bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a dozen roses.
Anniversary Package: $55

Celebrate your anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine & a fruit 'n' cheese platter. When ordering packages please give at least one week advance notice.

Afternoon Tea: $20 per person

Spend an afternoon with a few of your friends at the Inn. The Tea includes:
Assorted Scones, Tea Biscuits, Cream & Jellies, Cookies, Tea Sandwiches & of course Coffee and assorted Teas.

Guest Information
  • All Rates are for Single or Double Occupancy
  • Extra Person(s) $25 each per night
  • 2 night minimum stay may be required on weekends
  • 3 night minimum on select holidays and peak periods
  • For group reservations (3 rooms or more) a separate cancellation and reservation policy applies
  • We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex & Traveler's Checks
  • A 50% Deposit is required to confirm a reservation
  • A 14 day notice of any change is required for a refund, less $25 handling fee for reservation
  • Cancellations and any change in reservation on less than 14 days advance notice will result in the loss of 50%  deposit
  • A "No Show" will result in full payment of room for reservation
  • On holidays full payment is required and is non-refundable
  • Balance due upon arrival
  • Standard check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm (EST). For a late check in please call for instructions
  • Check in time: 3:00pm; Check out time: no later than 11:00am
  • Limited accommodations are available for children
  • Smoking is prohibited except for in designated areas outdoors
  • No pets allowed
