Beautifully restored, Ashley Manor quietly blends the amenities of your comfort expectations with the grace and dignity of an earlier time.

While originally part of a larger farm tract, today two acres remain to surround Ashley Manor with graceful hedges, stately old trees and natural woods. A charming gazebo completes the aura of a former time, while a carefully sited tennis court blends gently into the surroundings.

Common rooms are large and sunny in summer, cozy and warm in winter...and beautifully furnished with antiques, oriental rugs and graceful country furniture. Here, guests are invited to relax quietly by the fire, read a book from the Manor’s library, or share conversation with the other guests or the innkeeper.

The six bedchambers or suites are carefully decorated and appointed to reflect the 17th century details of the inn. Each is a spacious, private refuge. All feature modern baths, all but one enjoy working fireplaces, and the suites have large whirlpool tubs.

Each room has its own special charm...some feature New England shuttered windows, or colorful old Nantucket speckled floors, or canopy and pencil post beds. All include those lovely small touches that reveal the innkeepers’ caring attention to detail and your comfort: imported bedside chocolates, the finest soaps, shampoos and lotions, and in-room coffee and tea service for the early riser. Every room has a comfortable sitting area for two, where you can enjoy that cup of tea, or perhaps a good book.

Ashley Manor has in-room telephones with data ports, and televisions are also available upon request.

After a day of touring, Ashley Manor will welcome you back...for a set of tennis, to enjoy one of the many books in the library, complimentary cordials in the evening. Relax on the terrace or enjoy a luxurious whirlpool bath before dinner at one of the nearby fine restaurants. Surely the early Cape Codders lived this well...

King George's Suite
$225 in season and $175 off season per night, single or double occupancy, with king canopy bed, working fireplace, private bath, large whirlpool tub and shower, sitting area, spacious second floor room.

Dining Room

Each day the breakfast is different...starting with freshly ground New England coffee, teas, juice and fresh seasonal fruit or baked fruit as a first course. Entrees may include French toast, pancakes, waffles and various creative egg dishes. Cranberry pie or Blueberry-Peach-Raspberry Crisp are house specialties! And of course, for those who prefer a lighter start to their day, or those with dietary restrictions, a continental alternative can be arranged by prior request.

Guest Information
Reservations

As a small, elegant inn Ashley Manor offers you the finest amenities and warm hospitality. In addition, you always have the security of knowing that your reservation with us is guaranteed. Once we confirm a room for you all other requests are turned away. However, the Manor reserves the right to change room/suite assignments providing the assigned accommodation is equal to or better than the first assigned accommodation.
  • On reservations of one or two nights or during holiday periods, a guaranty of the full amount is required.
  • A guaranty of one half the amount is required on reservations for longer stays.
  • For reservations of 4 or more nights, the balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.
  • Reservations may be guaranteed with credit card or personal check. We request that checks be received within 5 days of reserving to maintain the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
  • A 14 day notice of change of reservation dates or cancellation is required for a refund of deposit, less a $25.00 processing fee.
  • We’re pleased to guarantee your reservation for the entire duration of your requested stay and early departure or last minute (less than 14 days) cancellation is subject to the full room charges of your original reservation If we are able to re-book your room due to last minute cancellation or early departures, your monies will be refunded, less a $25.00 processing fee.

  • Hours of check in are 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Check out time is 11:00 am
  • Please call the innkeeper for assistance with late arrival; self check in

  • On premises free assigned parking is provided for one vehicle per room
Miscellaneous
  • We regret that Ashley Manor does not meet the needs of children under 14
  • The Canterbury Suite can accommodate a third person or child over 14 for an additional charge of $20.00 per night.
  • No pets please; call for kennel referrals.
  • Smoking is not permitted in interior areas; patio and grounds are acceptable.
  • Ashley Manor has available in-room telephones with data ports; television can be available upon request for those reluctant to cut all ties to the 21st century...request on check in.
  • In order that all guests may enjoy the inn-experience they are seeking, we do not specialize in large party rentals and do not accept bookings for more than 2 rooms for one party.
