are dotted with islands and filled with schooners, pleasure boats, and
working lobstermen. Watch the white-sailed schooners glide by on the bay
and stroll our 5 acres of flowered meadows .
We have found
that guests feel at ease in our large,comfortable old "downeast shingled
cottage, " In keeping with its delightfully seaside atmosphere, we have
complemented the high ceilings with ornately carved trim, and varnished
mantels with an eclectic mix of furniture and art.
The Bay Meadows
Inn is centrally located on the Maine coast, close to Acadia National Park,
Bar Harbor, Rockland, and Camden.
Our Penobscot
Bay bed and breakfast accommodations include 19 bright and airy guest rooms
in the main house and a completely renovated Field House. We combine an
old fashioned ambiance with the conveniences of today.
Warm, friendly
and a relaxing atmosphere grace the inn today. All rooms have private baths,
AC, T.V. , and telephone. In additon to the Downeast Cottage a second structure,
the Field House is a renovated post and beam barn. The Field House rooms
are comfortable and modern in their decor. Guests enjoy beautiful views
of the Penobscot Bay from Bay View rooms or from the sun deck. |
