Our mid-coast Maine bed & breakfast was built in 1810. Today its historic charms blend perfectly with modern comforts.

The Inn is conveniently located just a few blocks from the harbor and shops. Our elegant yet casual atmosphere is a relaxing retreat for couples, familes and business travelers.

Sea Dream Suite

This lovely suite features a romantic gas fireplace, a charming conservatory nook with skylight, sitting area with two chairs, an antique oak dresser/secretary, and matching antique oak queen-size bed. The large bathroom has a spacious glassed-in shower plus a relaxing claw-foot soaking tub.

A country quilt and accessories adorn a pretty queen size sleigh bed. There is a sitting area with two wing back chairs; just right for relaxing. The room's light and airy feeling is enhanced by a conservatory nook. The bathroom features a glassed-in shower and vanity sink.

Nautical Nook

Beadboard and wainscoting set off the d?cor of this room with a queen-size bed. There is a Venetian glass a triptych mirror on the wall and a sitting area with two slipper chairs & table. The spacious bathroom has a claw-foot soaking tub and separate shower.

Harbor Haven
An antique double pencil post bed and mirrored oak dresser are the highlights of this charming downstairs room. In the bathroom, where stenciled bunnies add a touch of whimsy, there is a claw-foot soak tub with shower.

Balmy Blue

This lovely downstairs room is decorated with cheerful pastels and offers a queen size pencil post bed. Relax in the sitting area with two wing-back chairs and table. There is also a dainty lady's desk for writing postcards and a private bath with shower. 

Beach Roses
A bright and cheerful guestroom with the atmosphere of a beach cottage. It contains white wicker furnishings, queen size bed with Laura Ashley bedding, and a bath with vanity sink and glass-enclosed shower. A private entrance completes this cozy hideaway. 



A generous two course breakfast is served each morning from 8-9 a.m. in the dining room. Start with freshly brewed coffee or tea and an assortment juices.

Our Dining Room
Our first course includes favorites such as Poached Pears in Raspberry with Vanilla Cream, Caribbean Bananas, and Spiced Fruit with yogurt and Toasted Almonds. The main entree's are house specialties such as Eggs Florentine, Cheddar Cheese Quiche with Bacon & Leeks, and Blueberry Pancakes, just to name a few. A delicious way to start your day!
Guest Information
  • Check-in time is 3-6pm. Check-out time is 11 am.
  • To properly prepare the Inn for your arrival, we are unable to accommodate check-ins before 3 p.m.
  • If you expect to arrive after 6pm please let us know in advance.
  • Reservations: To confirm your Maine coast bed and breakfast reservation, one night's room rate is required as a deposit. If you find you must cancel or shorten the number of nights reserved, we must receive a full two weeks' notice in order to refund your deposit. All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved if cancellation is less than 14 days.
  • Low season November 01-May 31st. High season June 01-October 31st.
  • For the comfort and safety of our guests, we are a non-smoking Inn.
  • The Inn is open year round.

Getting Here
From The South: Take Exit 6A off the Maine Turnpike to Interstate 295, which joins Interstate 95 just north of Portland. Continue on 95, and a few miles north of Freeport, get onto Route 1 north at Exit 22, marked "Coastal Route 1, Brunswick." Stay on Route 1 as you drive along the midcoast, all the way through Waldoboro. Six miles beyond Waldoboro, turn left onto Route 90 and follow it for ten miles until it rejoins Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for two miles toward Camden. The Blue Harbor House is on your left as you come into town.

Alternate Routes: Sometimes, especially in the afternoon, Route 1 gets congested at Bath and Wiscasset. One alternate route is to continue on Route 95 to Route 17 (Exit 30) in Augusta. Go east on Route 17 to Route 90 (about 35 miles). Turn left onto Route 90 to Route 1 (3 miles). Turn left onto Route 1 to the Inn. Another alternate route is to continue on Route 95 to Gardiner (Route 126, Exit 28 ). Take Route 126 for about 3 miles, through Gardiner and across the river, turn RIGHT, and continue 100 yards to Route 226. Turn left onto Route 226 and continue to Route 17. Turn right onto Route 17 and follow it to Route 90. Turn left and continue to Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 to the Inn.

From The North: Follow Route 1 south to Camden and continue through the center of town. As you start up the hill at the southern end of town, the Blue Harbor House is on your right.
