The unique centerpiece of the great room is a vintage 1932 32' foot wooden boat with a classic nautical bar. Make yourself at home with our large selection of books, magazines and games...get comfortable on one of the four spacious decks overlooking the lake, get a hot stone or traditional massage on site, detoxify in the lakeside sauna, kayak or canoe to one of the 365 islands on Lake Vermilion, park your boat in our on-site boat slips, warm up in the 6 person hot tub, surf the web with our high speed wireless access, you decide, but no hurries and no worries.

Guest Quarters
For all you romantics, be sure to check out The Captains Quarters & The First Mates Room that both offer wood burning fireplaces.  All rental rooms are in the main lodge, we do not offer individual cabin rentals.


The Captain's Quarters
This second floor waterfront room offers incredible views of Lake Vermilion from your king size bed and private balcony. You'll love the 40” TV with satellite service, wood burning fireplace and large private bath. Two twin beds can also be offered in place of the king bed.

The First Mate's Room
Enjoy the wood burning fireplace and/or the excellent lake views from your queen bed. A private entrance and bath make this room ideal for couples. Accommodates 2 guests.

Skipper's Room
Feel like you are sleeping right in the trees overlooking the lake. Excellent lake breeze, private entrance and private bath. 2 guests.

Starboard Room
Two double beds make this room ideal for traveling friends, fisherman, hunters, children or groups. Large private bath. 2-4 guests.

Stern Room
This first floor room offers a two twin beds or one king along with a private entrance and bath. 2 guests.

Guest Information
  • Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 12 noon. 
  • Cash and check payment only. We do not accept credit cards due to the significant fees the credit card companies charge small businesses. 
  • Memorial Day to Labor Day is considered “high season”. The cancellation policy during “high season” is 30 days with no penalty. If you cancel inside 30 days of your scheduled reservation you will be charged unless we are able to rent the room. The cancellation policy outside of “high season” is one week. A 25% deposit is required to hold a reservation.
  • Prices include a continental breakfast of quality coffee, toast, cereal and fruit with each nights stay. 
  • Room rentals are subject to a 6.5% sales tax and a 3% lodging tax.
  • Rates are based on double occupancy; additional guests are $25 per person. 
  • There is a 2 night minimum stay on all Holiday weekends and weekends in July & August. If you wish to stay 1 night, you may do so for additional $30.
  • Adult pets who are in a kennel at night and do not bark are welcome for group rentals. Pets must not be left unattended and must be cleaned up after immediately. We have a well behaved chocolate lab that is not on a leash during the day. For individual guests, please inquire regarding your pet. 
  • We use all non-toxic cleansers in the guest rooms.
  • We gladly offer organic food & products whenever possible and are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements or food allergies. 
  • Out of respect for all guests, quiet hours apply at 11pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends.
