We welcome you to ‘By The Sea’ Guests Bed & Breakfast, one of the few Bed & Breakfast Inns on Cape Cod with its own private beach.  We are a non-smoking Bed & Breakfast with 12 Guest Rooms and 5 suites, each with its own private bath. Most of our rooms offer an extended view of Nantucket Sound, some with direct ocean front views. And, we have high speed Internet connection! 

Come let the salt air breezes rejuvenate you. Take in a sunset or midnight stroll on our beach during the warm summer nights. Or on a cool fall evening, unwind by a crackling fire in the quiet and comfort of our large oversized living room. Begin each morning with our hearty breakfast served to you on our wrap-around Veranda overlooking Nantucket Sound.

Family operated, all of our non-smoking guest rooms and suites offer the following amenities: private ceramic tiled bathrooms with glass showers including four with soaking tubs, color cable televisions, refrigerators, ceiling fans, AC and individually controlled thermostats for those cooler evenings. Most of our rooms have an ocean view with some directly overlooking Nantucket Sound. We are not antiquish or elegant, but what we are is warm, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, friendly and convenient.

Breakfast 

Breakfast is served each morning on our oceanfront Veranda Where you can take in the natural beauty of Nantucket Sound. We start your day with our rich, hardy coffee, specialty teas, fruit juices, cut fresh fruit bowl, hot or cold cereals, fresh hot baked rolls, a variety of warmed pastries and a hot entree. After breakfast you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the shore or relax on our own private beach.

Policies
Deposits are refundable, less a $45.00 service charge, if notice of cancellation is received 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If your plans must change, and you cancel or shorten your stay less than the 14 days prior to your arrival, we will refund your deposit, less a $45.00 service charge, only if we can re-rent your room for the same dates, and no other loss is incurred by us.

We realize it is difficult to make reservations in advance of arrival without previous inspection or experience. We will do whatever is in our power to meet your comfort and expectations level but in no way does this alter our refund policy. 

High seasonal demand for waterfront properties requires us to be strict on our policies so the guest will be clear what their responsibilities are before booking. In depositing the reservation you ask us to turn away other business to hold your room. In good faith, we each do something for the other.

Check-In is 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Later arrivals must be pre-arranged. Check-Out is 11:00 a.m.
Directions
From Boston and points North: Take Route 93 into Route 3 South and follow over the Sagamore Bridge onto the Mid-Cape Highway. Take the Mid-Cape Highway (Route 6) to Exit 9A. Turn right onto Route 134. Continue to the intersection of Route 134 and Route 28. Turn left onto Route 28 and follow 1 mile to Depot Street (Just before ‘The Egg and I” restaurant). Turn right  and follow straight down to the ocean. The road curves to the left onto Chase Avenue. Continue until you see ‘By The Sea’ Guests on your right.

From Central Massachusetts: Take the Mass. Pike to Route 495 South into Route 25 over the Bourne Bridge. Go 3/4 of the way around the rotary circle, and you’ll see a sign on our left with an arrow pointing to the right reading Rte. 6 and 6A. Take that road. The canal will be on your left for 4 to 5 miles until you reach a traffic light. Follow the arrow sending you right at the light onto the ramp to Rte. 6 which is now the Mid-Cape Highway. Continue onto Route 6 and take Exit 9A.  Turn right onto Route 134. Continue to the intersection of Route 134 and Route 28. Turn left onto Route 28 and follow 1 mile to Depot Street (Just before ‘The Egg and I” restaurant). Turn right and follow straight down to the ocean. The road curves to the left onto Chase Avenue. Continue until you see ‘By The Sea’ Guests on your right.

From New York and points South: Take I-95 to Providence, Rhode Island. In Providence take I-195 East to exit 22A and follow on to Route25 Southeast over the Bourne Bridge.  Go 3/4 of the way around the rotarycircle, and follow the  arrow pointing to the right reading Rte. 6 and 6A. Take that road. The canal will be on your left for 4 to 5 miles until you reach a traffic light.
