Welcome...

Four Mile creek bed & Breakfast, once the headquarters of the Four Mile Ranch, is located in a quiet valley near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Originally homesteaded in 1885, the Four Mile Ranch is listed in the National Registry of Historic Sites. Four Mile Creek runs year round near the main house and two log cabins. The grounds offer pleasant strolls and relaxing sitting areas.
Two log cabins are available. Each cabin sleeps 4 ( queen size bed and a full size futon…all in the same sleeping area). The cabins also have full kitchens and baths. Two rooms are also available in the main house (each with a queen size bed). The two rooms share a convenient bath. We also offer a suite in our historic red barn.  The Red Barn Suite has one queen size bed, kitchenette and full bath.

The old Four Mile Ranch bunkhouse has been converted into the Bunkhouse Mercantile. The Mercantile offers a selection of folk art, farm & garden products and collectibles.

Guests enjoy a full breakfast in the main dining room.  Breakfast is normally served between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.  Complimentary refreshments will be available in the evening.

The Blackbird Room
Named for the wrought iron blackbirds that perch on the queen sized bed, is furnished to give a hint of early Colorado’s boom times.
