Welcome...you will be greeted in the foyer with a ceiling height of 20' and beautiful French crystal chandelier, flanked by an antique-filled parlor  and an elegant dining room each having fireplaces. A large gathering room is both antique and modern, including a TV, VCR, phone, treadmill, reading areas, and a cooler filled with complimentary drinks for your comfort. Or you may desire to soak in the arbor-covered hot tub in a yard canopied by many beautiful oak trees as you gaze at the stars.

Enjoy the four spacious bedrooms upstairs, each reflecting warmth and character. The beds and other furnishings are representative of homes in a time past, yet offer modern comfort. Each air-conditioned room has hardwood floors, oriental carpets, ceiling fans, lace curtains, writing desk, and sitting areas for reading or relaxation.

In the morning, coffee or tea in silver service will be awaiting you outside your door if desired. Or you may prefer to leisurely relax in the screened-in back porch furnished with turn-of-the century wicker, or sit in the gazebo, or on the patio absorbing the smells and sounds of nature. A full gourmet breakfast in a Victorian setting will be served in the antique furnished dining room.

Mattie Belle's Room

Mattie Belle's room offers Victorian charm including a full extra-long Renaissance walnut bed, Victorian dresser, Scottish chest, rosewood and marble nightstand from a Mississippi estate, and heirloom parlor set. 

Room Rate: $100 per night

Susan's Room
Enjoy a queen-size walnut grand tester bed, Victorian settee, French armoire, Empire dressers, and private bath.

Tom's Room

Tom's Room is adorned with a fourth generation Federal Jenny Lind canopy bed made of tulip wood, Victorian settee, Empire dresser, and a private bath. 

Room Rate:  $115 per night

Lillie's Room
The romantic decor of Lillie's Room includes a beautiful queen-size walnut Carolina Back Country bed, marble top serpentine dresser, and a unique wishbone vanity.

  • $25 cash or check deposit for each room. Will be applied to balance upon arrival.
  • No Pets are allowed, but boarding is nearby.
  • All Rooms are Air Conditioned
  • No children under the age of 12, but negotiable
  • No cooking facilities are available for guests
  • Checkin: 4 pm or by prior arrangement. Checkout: 11 A.M.
  • Reservations: Confirmed with security of deposit, equal to  one night's charge or 50% of charge for stay of 3 or more nights. Deposits may be secured by $25 cash or check for each room to be applied to balance upon arrival
  • Cancellation: A $25.00 service charge will be applied to all cancellations. Cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. Holidays and Special Event. Ccancellations received less than 14 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook. If a reservation is cut short you will be charged 50% per day for each remaining day of your reservation, excluding Holidays and Special Events where you will be charged the entire amount of your reserved stay. All cancellations must be received by phone.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the inn or on the porches.

DIRECTIONS FROM WICHITA FALLS: @ 48 miles Take US 287 S to the first Bowie Exit toward US 81 N/FM 174. Turn left on FM 174. Turn a sharp left onto US 81/Stoneburg Road. Turn right on Sessions Street, veer right onto Spears Street, then left on Sessions. There is a stop sign on the corner of Central and Sessions. We are the first house on the right.

DIRECTIONS FROM FORT WORTH @ 68 miles, OR DALLAS @ 88 miles: Take US 287 N/81 N and exit 60 to Decatur. Continue on US 287N/81 N until you come to the Bowie Exit that says 81 N towards Bowie/Waurika. Continue until you see a fork in the road and take 81 N toward Waurika. Go @ 0.1 miles and turn right on Sessions Street. Veer right onto Spears Street, then left on Session. We are 906 Sessions.

DIRECTIONS FROM DENTON @ 58 miles: Take University Drive/US 377/US 380 W toward Decatur. Follow directions from Fort Worth.
