Welcome to Golden Eagle Ranch, a Bed & Breakfast Inn, in Descanso, California, where there is abundant sunshine and a gentle breeze almost every day!  We chose the name Golden Eagle to exemplify excellence and honor the majesty of the surrounding foothills. 

You will find our B&B, Golden Eagle Ranch, a restful inn and a peaceful escape in the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains, near Julian, in southern California,  just 40 miles east of downtown San Diego, California. Recently built in 2005, our home has a fresh look, with wood floors throughout to give it that country charm.

Now available at Golden Eagle Guest Ranch, a B&B inn, are the West and South bedrooms, with the North room as additional family space.  All guest rooms are located on the second floor of our home.  Book a weekend get-away in our guest rooms today.  You deserve a vacation and we are here to make your lodging comfortable and relaxing!

A country breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Rooms are available weekends only.

Guest Rooms


The West Room

Large room, private bath, and views to the South and West of the ranch. Furnished with a queen bed, walk-in closet, antique dresser, wood floors, and flat panel TV.

The South Room
Features a queen size bed,  swivel rocker chair, wood floors, walk-in closet and TV with DVD player.  Shares Bath with North Room.

The North Room
Furnished with two twin beds, oak furniture, recliner,  and wood floors. Bath is shared with the South Room.

Scrumptious Breakfasts

Breakfast will be served in the dining room each morning.   European style breakfast with fresh fruit, toast, home-made baked goods,  yogurt and cheeses. Cold and hot cereal are also available. 

Activities


Nearby Cuyamaca State Park
Hiking.  Many hiking trails are available right here on the ranch. 
Bird Watching.  There are many varieties of birds that live in this area.  
Observing Ranch animals.  You cannot go into their enclosure or let them out, but the resident animals are fun to watch.
Stargazing.  Most nights the skies are clear and you can easily see many stars, constellations, and some planets.

Guest Information

  • Pet Policy: NO pets can be accommodated for guests. 
  • Open Flame Policy: No candles in your room.
  • Accommodations: All rooms accommodate two persons.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Check In/Out Policy:  Check-in is 3:00-7:00pm; late check-in can be arranged.  Check-out is 12 noon.
  • kk Smoking out of doors is permissible in designated area ONLY.  All lit materials will be extinguished in receptacle provided.  Absolutely no smoking inside of the inn.
  • Payment Policy:  Credit Card and Debit Card payments accepted.  No checks.  One night deposit required to confirm reservations.
  • Cancellation Policy:  Deposits are refundable if your cancellation is received seven (7) days prior to your planned arrival, minus a $25 service fee.  Within the seven days, a cancellation may result in your deposit being retained and charges for all other reserved nights being applied to your credit card if we are unable to re-rent your room.
