Who we are
Market Intellect was founded by Dr. Gene Brown, a Professor of Marketing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  With over 20 years in research, we have a broad range of experience. 

Gene has provided for the research needs of small-to-medium-sized businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies, including Pizza Hut, Sprint, Bayer, General Motors and international companies like British Gas.

Gene’s career has been characterized as having one foot in industry and one foot in academics.  He earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Alabama where he majored in Marketing and minored in Statistics and Quantitative Methods. 

Consequently, the focus of Market Intellect is to develop actionable, marketplace learnings.  We transform information into strategic intelligence for decision-making.
