Montana Island Lodge is located on Salmon Lake, a 5 mile lake at the southernmost tip of the Seeley-Swan valley. Mountain adventure surrounds you at the Lodge.

Enjoy our unique, contemporary log mansion, with five fireplaces and 11 luxury guest rooms and suites, each with a unique style of its own. The facility includes a fitness center, outdoor hot tub and bonfire deck, all in a park-like setting.

At the Montana Island Lodge, we offer an exclusive full-service conference facility specifically suited to high level, strategic planning meetings, for groups of up to 25 participants. We also have larger events (weddings, etc.) for up to 125. Our attentiveness to every detail provides maximum productivity and focus and our island location lends your meeting a completely unique, secluded environment, with outdoor recreation in between sessions. 

The Montana Island Lodge Group Package Rate includes all the meals your group requires. We cater only to your group during your stay, and pride ourselves on outstanding Montana hospitality, gourmet cuisine and exceptional individualized service. For your conference, meeting, or gathering, meal planning is flexible to work within your schedule. If anyone in your group has a special dietary request, we are happy to accommodate.

The Great Room

From the moment you arrive, you'll have the complete attention of our expert staff. Start and end each day in a relaxing, tranquil environment, enabling your group to concentrate on the task at hand. Our meeting facility features the Great Room, with either a formal boardroom style environment, or a casual living room feel, for up to 30 meeting or dining guests.

Grizzly Game Room
The Grizzly Game Room has a conference table for eight, while the Conference Room acts as an on-site business center and breakout room. The Big Sky Meeting Room has flexible seating for up to twelve, and a comfortable fireplace.
Catering
Coffee break and refreshment service is provided throughout your event. This includes fresh coffee, hot water, soft drinks, bottled water, juices, fresh whole fruit, assorted snacks and low-fat treats.

Our gourmet meals are prepared by our world-class chef in the Lodge's state-of-the-art kitchen, using only fresh seasonal ingredients, with a continental flair. 

Our outstanding, hearty cuisine compliments the elegant, casual atmosphere. We can prepare any custom menu that accommodates the tastes and needs of your group.

Start your morning with one of our breakfast menus, which feature everything from seasonal fresh fruit to eggs prepared to order, and always the freshest coffee.

For lunch, homemade soups, deli platters and a remarkable variety of nine healthy salads will keep your group moving through mid-day. Finish it off with freshly baked desserts, ice cream treats, and our special raspberry lemonade.

For dinner, after a classic Caesar salad, enjoy one of many gourmet entrees, from herb marinated and roasted pork tenderloin or grilled lemon rosemary chicken, to baked northwest salmon filet, grilled tenderloin and New York steaks, or barbecued beef brisket. And our huckleberry cheesecake and chocolate decadence are both unforgettable.

Activities

Run Away From Home
Tour the lake in a canoe, paddleboat or fishing boat. The pontoon boat is also at your service for a relaxing sunset cruise. 

Your Boat Awaits
Mountain biking and horseback riding offer summer outings only minutes from the meeting facility, in addition to fly fishing, rafting, golf and hiking. We can arrange day excursions to Big Fork or Whitefish (90 minutes to two hours away), for upscale shopping and theater, or to Glacier for world-famous views and hiking.

Winter offers cross-country skiing through pristine scenery, moonlight rides with sled dogs, ice skating, walks in the crisp air, great ice fishing, and snowmobiling on hundreds of miles of backcountry trails.

Rates and Policies
Rates are based on availability, type of group, length of stay, meals and event requirements. A proposal for your rates will be customized and prepared upon request. Please call or email us with your requests for a specific quote.

Our complete meeting package price includes overnight guest rooms, meeting rooms with notepads and pens, basic audiovisual equipment, breakfast, lunch and dinner, continuous 24-hour coffee and refreshment service, on-premise recreational activities, business services including copying and faxing, expert meeting planning, transportation to the Lodge, special audiovisual needs and gratuities. Package does not include: Alcoholic beverages (or you may bring your own); State bed tax and off-premise recreational activities

A nonrefundable deposit is required upon return of the signed letter of agreement. A prepayment of 50% of the estimated charges may be required 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations of the entire group made 30 to 15 days before the meeting date will be subject to payment of 25% of the total estimated charges. Cancellations of the entire group made within 14 days before the meeting date will be charged 50% of the total estimated charges. Cancellation of participants within 7 days prior to arrival will be charged 100% of the estimated charges for that person. An itemized statement of charges will be prepared at the end of the event and will be due upon departure.
