Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room area. Augusta Room - $160 - $190

The famous Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA is the inspiration for this room. The feel of this special event is captured with an original painting of Ben Hogan at "Amen Corner". The room is hunter green with bedding and window treatments in a warm cinnamon/burgundy floral pattern and includes a walnut queen size canopy bed, large whirlpool tub and shower, double sinks and high ceilings with skylight in bath. 

Highlands Room - $170 - $200
This room was recently featured Southern Living Magazine and is named for Highlands, NC. The golden color walls provide warmth to this bright room with Williamsburg designed drapes, comforter and accessories, highlighted with magnolias and dogwoods and lovely tiffany lamps.. This is a large room with king size bed, whirlpool tub and shower.

Sunset Bay Suite -  $220 - $250

Sunset Bay Inn's signature suite with its decor of roses and lace create a "midnight and roses" theme that provides a perfect place for honeymooners or any special romantic get-a-way. The room is painted a deep rose and has a king size canopy bed and other furnishings in a striking black shaker style design; a separate sitting room with a view towards the bay adds to the charm of this room. The large bath has a double size whirlpool tub and separate shower. 

Kihei Room - $160 - $190
Kihei is a quaint town on the island of Maui in Hawaii and is a little bit of heaven on earth. This room takes on a tropical effect with birds, flowers and beach accents. A decorator queen size bed of gold iron and green ivy highlights this light and airy room painted in a yellow with green willow comforter and drapes, whirlpool tub and shower.

Sapphire Room - $150 - $180

The beauty and tranquility of Sapphire Valley, NC is presented in this room decorated in soft greens and yellows. The room is located on the third floor and offers a unique arrangement and privacy. A view of the beautiful blue skies through the skylights over the pewter wrought iron queen size bed provides an extra touch to this relaxing and peaceful hide-a-way. A sleigh bed in this room provides additional sleeping accommodations. The bath area has a whirlpool tub and shower. 

Marthasville Room - $150 - $180
If you return to the history books, you will find Marthasville was one of the original names of Atlanta, GA. This room is dramatically decorated with Waverley Pleasant Valley burgundy and green wallpaper, comforter and window treatment in both floral and stripes. This room offers third floor privacy, also with skylights to brighten the room. The queen size bed is cherry with wrought iron trimming, and the bathroom contains the original claw foot soaking tub to ensure you total relaxation and a nostalgic experience.

Carmel Suite - $230 - $260
You can really "make your day" with a stay in this suite located in the carriage house adjacent to the main house and overlooking the courtyard. Warm tones of plum, a cherry/wrought iron queen bed encased with a canopy and white columns and prominent pictures give this suite the mission feel of Carmel, CA. The bath contains a double size whirlpool; additional amenities include a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. 

Monterey Suite - $240 - $270
Monterey, CA brings visions of John Steinbeck's Cannery Row, sea otters playing in the ocean, Pebble Beach and beautiful views along the peninsula, including the Lone Cypress. This suite is exceptional and will make you feel grand. Feel the serenity with earth tone walls and décor of soft green and other pastels that provide the perfect background for the exquisite king size wrought iron canopy bed and antique white furnishings, an extra large two person whirlpool and separate shower. The specialty area in this carriage house suite provides a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.

  • Additional guests may stay in rooms that can accommodate them for a charge of $25.00 per night for adults and $20.00 per night for children.
  • Arrival time is between 3-6 PM unless prior arrangements have been made; check-out time is 12:00 Noon.
  • Sunset Bay Inn is a non-smoking establishment; smoking is permitted on the verandah and outside areas.
  • Children must be eight (8) or older.
  • Call for pet policy.
  • Two night minimum required on event weekends and during high season. Some special events may require longer minimum.
  • Cancellations must be made within 14 days of stay; cancellations under 14 days will be refunded (less a $15.00 fee) if room is rebooked.
  • All room rates subject to applicable Florida State Sales Tax (7%) and Pinellas County Tourism Tax (4%).

Directions
Sunset Bay Inn is conveniently located in the prestigious "Old Northeast" district near downtown St. Petersburg on the corner of Bay Street and Sixth Avenue N.E.

From Tampa International Airport, follow signs to I-275 South to St. Petersburg. Take Exit 23A (I-375); stay on I-375 until it ends which will put you on 4th Avenue North. Continue on 4th Avenue until reaching the waterfront. Take a left onto Beach Drive and go two blocks to 6th Avenue N.E. Turn left and go one block. Sunset Bay Inn is on your right. You may park in front of the B&B on in one of the spaces in front of the carriage house. 

If approaching St. Petersburg from the south (traveling north on I-275, take Exit 23 and follow the same directions.
