Trail's End Inn...a romantic 1902 Adirondack bed and breakfast lodge nestled in New York's spectacular Keene Valley amid soaring mountain peaks. This rustic, romantic, and secluded bed & breakfast inn is ideally located for all seasons. Easily accessible, the inn is 1/3 mile off the main highway, quiet and secluded, surrounded by meadows and gorgeous mountains.

The Adirondack Park is larger than the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National parks combined. Nestled in the High Peaks Region of the Adirondacks is Trail's End Inn, built in 1902 as an Adirondack Camp. Enjoy wide board pine floors, brick fireplaces, spacious guest rooms, sleeping porches, clawfoot tubs and plenty of common areas for guest comfort. Many of our rooms have screened Adirondack sleeping porches for enjoying the fresh air and soothing forest sounds.

The atmosphere at Trail's End is casual, leisurely and welcoming in the country inn tradition. From the first friendly greeting, to the games, puzzles and books around the fire, to the hearty breakfasts in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the bird feeders, our staff is dedicated to making your stay relaxing, memorable and enjoyable.

Guest Rooms


Blueberry Cottage

The living room portion of the upstairs has a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a TV and VCR, music system with CD player, easy chairs and a wood-burning stove (wood is provided). There is a second bath with shower upstairs as well. The deck has a wonderful view of the river and there are nice woods behind the house.

Catamount Room
Catamount has a queen sized bed, a loveseat sleeper couch and a small fireplace in the room. The private bath has tub/shower. It has a large, palladian window and a lovely view of the front meadow. There is also a large attached, unheated Adirondack sleeping porch with two twin beds. Catamount can accommodate 1couple in the queen bed, one person on the sofa bed, and two people on the sleeping porch.
Guest Rooms


Boreas Room

Boreas has a queen bed and a shared hall bathroom. In addition, Boreas has a large attached,  unheated Adirondack sleeping porch. The sleeping porch has a double bed and a queen bed. The view from the sleeping porch is to the west overlooking trees and a stone wall. Boreas can  accommodate one couple in the double bed inside and two more couples or singles on the beds on the sleeping porch. 

Gothics Room
Esther, Gothics or Skylight rooms have a king-sized bed, queen-sized futon sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and private bath with whirlpool tub big enough for two. There is plenty of room for a rollaway bed, too.

Guest Information
  • Main Lodge rate ranges from $85-$145 per night for two persons in one room and include breakfast. Weekly discounts are available.
  • Single rates are $10 less per night.
  • Our cottage rate is $195 per night for up to four persons. Weekly rates are available.
  • If more than two people stay in a room: Children under 5 stay free. Children age 5-15 $15.00 per night. Additional adults and children 16 and up: $20.00 per night
  • Trail's End welcomes children. Babysitting can be arranged with advance notice.

Cancellation
  • We ask for a credit card number to guarantee your reservation.
  • A 50% deposit is required, and can be on the credit card, or by check or money order. You will be given a cancellation date 14 days in advance of your reserved arrival date.
  • Because we are a small inn, we cannot absorb late cancellations and changes in plans due to weather or reasons beyond our control. Should you cancel or change your reserved stay 14 days or more prior to your arrival date, we will happily refund your deposit, less a $20 per night handling fee. You may also choose to apply the entire amount of your deposit towards a future stay. If, however, your cancellation is made fewer than 14 days prior to your arrival date, you will be financially obligated for all reserved nights of your stay, unless we fully rebook your reserved time period.
  • Early departures are charged for the full stay as reserved.
